Whether you're kids are going off to school, you're entering retirement, starting a new job, or preparing to move, like Cain and Tiffany, you can use change as the force that moves you closer to your goal.
How do you do that? By creating a new normal. You're changing anyway, so you might as well make it positive change. Use it to spur you forward. They created new normals from the way they ate out, to what they did for fun, and made all of their norms reinforce their new lifestyle instead of wrecking it.

What an eye opening episode. My new normal is not letting injuries get in my way of my ultimate goal. Injured or not I can still eat right. In the past an injury would halt any forward progress and ultimately end my journey. Not my new normal. The fact is I am injured, I can't change that fact. I will do what I CAN do and not focus on what I can't do. My new normal! I will eat right and walk a little today and tomorrow I will eat right and walk a little further than today.
